Their vision

“Workers have no supreme saviours; they depend on themselves and on their collective struggle.”

As the 2027 presidential election approaches, Nathalie Arthaud, spokesperson for Lutte Ouvrière (LO), is once again a candidate. She defends a revolutionary communist line and intends to use this campaign as a political platform to raise one fundamental question: should the running of society keep being entrusted to capitalists, or should the world of labour take back control of the wealth it creates?

Their platform

Work & wages
General wage increases indexed to inflation. A ban on layoffs in companies that make profits. Worker control over working conditions and production.
Expropriation of big corporations
Bringing big companies, banks and industrial groups into public ownership. Ending the dictatorship of shareholders and putting the wealth produced at the service of the community.
Against wars & competition
Opposition to all imperialist wars. Freedom of movement for every human being. Rejection of the capitalist competition that impoverishes workers worldwide.
Ecology & capitalism
The climate crisis is the product of capitalism, which is incapable of not destroying the planet. Only overthrowing the system, not reforming it, can meet the ecological emergency.
